Founded by Justin Jacobs and Clay Hadick in 2007, Open Door Photography  has now become a well known and respected team in the wedding industry on the Central Coast and much of California.

 

Open Door Photography began as a graphic and web design company with photography as a necessary tool for creating and generating marketing materials for our commercial clients.  About a year and a half in, we soon found ourselves shooting more and more photography and was asked to shoot a wedding for one of our clients.  The rest is history.

Currently, we do close to 30+ weddings/year all over California and other destinations around the US. We have added videography to our list of services that we provide, and are continuing to grow and gain more and more rapport not only in the industry here on the Central & Southern Coast of California but all over.

In 2012 Justin Jacobs and his wife Katie moved back with their two little girls to the Santa Ynez Valley to expand and grow the business as well as to join in with a local ministry called The Ranch Church as Worship/Youth Pastors.  Today, Open Door Photography remains solely owned by Justin and Katie and is growing into one of the premier Wedding & Engagement Photographers for The Santa Ynez Valley, and surrounding regions.
